The breath-taking view at every turn of the Manali-Leh highway imprints images that remain long after.The 485 km route, open only for 3 months in the year, takes around 24 hours with an overnight camp at Sarchu at an altitude of 4,000 m.

Explore the picturesque Valley of Gods at Manali and Nagar. An easy day of strolling around Manali. Visit Dhungri Temple (also known as Hadimba Temple by locals) and the quaint village of Nagar with its many ancient temples, including the 11th-12th century Temple Gauri and the Tripura Sundri Devi Temple. Manali – Keylong – Sarchu (4630 Mts / 250 km / 8-9hrs)

Drive to Keylong over the Rohtang Pass (13054 Ft) the district headquarters of Lahaul & Spiti, which is like an oasis of green fields; willow planted watercourses and mighty brown mountains. The lady of Keylong is an imposing snow covered peak it is an amazing rock feature.

Continue drive further to Sarchu, the road from Darcha to Baralacha (16341 Ft) the pass goes through amazing switch back roads at Zing-Zing Bar and the sky blue Suraj Tal lake. Just over Baralacha is Sarchu the border of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Overnight at the Camp.
